February 21, 2010 Psychodrama Workshop at the Piccolo Theater at 600 Main Street, Evanston, Illinois. Come join Lorelei J. Goldman, MA, Trainer, Educator and Group Psychotherapist for a full day of psychodrama. "Reminiscence and Repair is the theme where participants can be involved in their own drama as well as those of others. We are our stories. By taping into the treasure of our life experiences we will find our true self and enhance our own lives as well as the lives of others. This experiential and didactic workshop explores the theoretical basis and practical applications of life review. Discussion will reflect on how we approach and stimulate memory, enhance self and create a supportive community. IN this workshop, experience how old roles can be transformed and new beginnings made possible. Participants will learn the psychological reasons why reminiscence is important and how Psychodrama can be used for repair. Attendee, will also experience Psychodrama (action techniques) including role playing and role reversal to help those memories come alive. The focus will be on turning points across the life cycle. Lorelei J. Goldman, MA, TEP, is the training director of the Psychodrama Training Institute of Chicago. She has been active nationally and internationally in teaching the art/science of Psychodrama. She was trained by both Zerka Moreno and Dr. Elaine Sachnoff. She is a fellow and current board member of the American society of Group Psychotherapy and Psychodrama. She has published in Beyond Behavior and Elementary English journal. She created Poetry in Action as a teaching tool.
